  We got married in March 2023, and had looked around at a few venues before seeing Chapel Hill Retreat. We had thought we would need to compromise on a few things, however as soon as we visited Chapel Hill, we knew we wouldn't need to compromise on anything as it was the perfect venue. The ladies were so fast at communicating and responding to any questions we had either via email or phone.
  
  On the day, unfortunately the weather was not on our side, but thanks to Chapel Hill's flexibility with their many ceremony options, and only one wedding per day, we were able to move from the lawn to the verandah just hours before the ceremony.
  
  The bridesmaids and bride were able to get ready in the Bridal Lounge from 9am, and the groomsmen and groom could get ready in the Bulgamatta Homestead from 12pm.
  
  The reception room held our 80 guests with plenty of space, the food was beautiful, and the bar could not be faulted!
  There is plenty of parking, and the views are to die for - even in the rain.
  We used all of the onsite accommodation, which family were very impressed with.
  
  Thank you Chapel Hill staff for making our day more perfect than we could have ever dreamed!

  Wow, what can we say.
  The Chapel Hill team was so accommodating to our needs for our special day. They were always in touch with us to make sure we knew what was happening if they had to make changes. Everything from the views to getting our photos taking in surrounding bush land, was picture perfect. There dinner menu that we choose from was amazing, our guest also enjoyed the meal. Would recommend anyone who was looking for a wedding venue to get in touch with these lovely people.

  Me and my now Wife just got married at this amazing spot! I remember out first tour and getting shown the many different locations which we could have our ceremony, all just as beautiful as the last, both inside and outside, Having our Ceremony and Reception is always a great thing! The Food was amazing, and customisable, the staff were lovely and having the house/cottages available for before and after, getting ready and having your closes friends come back to made for an amazing day/night, and the honeymoon sweet down by the water was just the perfect way to end the night and wake up the next morning, if your looking for somewhere to have your day, I 10/10 would recommend this place! You won't regret it!

  We had our wedding here about a month ago. Beautiful venue and loved that we could have the preparations, ceremony, reception and accommodation all in the once place. All our guests commented on how nice the food was too. Dianne, Rebecca and Rebekah were so lovely to deal with and made sure everything was how we wanted. The lake lodge was stunning and so comfortable to spend our wedding night in. I would highly recommend this wedding venue.

  Chapel Hill is an exceptional and well-run wedding venue. Rebekah, Rebecca and Diane were so friendly and wonderful to work with, efficient with communication and helped everything run as smoothly as possible. We loved that Chapel Hill accommodates one wedding per day, which offers space and flexibility for the whole venue. The venue itself is beautiful, clean and the accommodation the night before and night of the wedding meant we could relax and not worry about travelling on the day. We were also able to change our ceremony location up to two hours before the wedding, which helped in our favour on the day due to weather conditions. The team were in constant communication with us and our MC on the day of the wedding and were very flexible with the timing of activities to delay or accelerate as needed. One of our external vendors forgot to bring some practical items as arranged and Chapel Hill didn’t hesitate to supply these for us, which we greatly appreciated. The food was delicious, everyone complimented it and went back for more. We recommend Chapel Hill to anybody looking for a beautiful and stress-free wedding.

  A big thank you to Ali and your team. You made our daughters day just magical . You all worked so hard to make this just a beautiful day for Jess and Luke to cherish for ever. We had so many of our guess saying how beautiful everything was and some said they would like there children to have there wedding there when they decide to get married. Some people even said wow its just gorgeous. A big thank you again Ali

  Let me start off by saying that the venue itself is actually really beautiful and the caretakers are really nice. However the wedding planner and the owner are only after your money and don't actually care how your wedding goes. Here is the list of complaints we sent to them after our wedding day and they denied that any of them actually happened, but they certainly did.
  
  The only way that I would recommend this place is if it changed ownership/management.
  
  1. We were charged for additional guests that weren’t at the wedding. They weren’t in the final numbers, in the invites or in anything else. According to Chapel Hill’s “headcount” there were additional people, however I did not see anyone that wasn’t invited and can provide a seating chart as proof of numbers.
  
  2. Several tables did not get alternating main meals and got the vegetable filo parcel. This was disappointing as we were promised alternating meals.
  
  3. The field mushrooms were cut in half, rather than being a full mushroom like at the tasting, which looked much better.
  
  4. A number of the field mushroom entrees did not have any goats cheese on them (unlike at the tasting).
  
  5. The caretaker was very upset that she didn't know that it was a garden wedding when my wife arrived, which added unnecessary stress on the day. This could have easily been avoided by some communication.
  
  6. I believe that the extension went until 11pm (by which time staff had already started packing up) and not 11:30pm.
  
  7. The $75 taste testing included one desert that was purely tinned peaches with crushed nuts on top. This is completely out of proportion to what can realistically be expected for this amount of money.
  
  8. Kristy was going to charge us something like $400 for turning fairy lights that were already inside the venue. In fairness, she did mention this beforehand, but I said that I wanted them removed all together then, because I thought it would look stupid to have lights that weren't on. She told me it wouldn't be a problem and they would be removed. When we got there on the day, the lights were there and she wasn't going to turn them on without the payment. Luckily my now mother in law told her off and Kristy ended up turning them on and didn't charge us for it.
